This pen is made using a real, but non-functional circuit board which is
wrapped around a tube and cast in crystal-clear acrylic, the acrylic is
reduced to the smallest diameter possible while allowing enough to
protect the 3-D components, the acrylic is polished to the point that it
almost disappears - magnifying the circuits like a fine watch crystal.
The final effect is really fun - you can almost touch the gold, silver, copper, black and white features on the circuit board.
With its premium transmission the Parker style refill extends and retracts very smoothly and the pen features a 24ct durable plating that should maintain its shiny finish for many years.
